The weather outside is bleak, the landscape looks wintery, and the kale walks begin. Our head chef Bernd Rimke prepares fresh and flavourful kale for our guests. Served piping hot, in the classic style with Pinkel, Kochwurst, and smoked pork loin, alongside delicious boiled potatoes. Whether for groups or for two, we’ll happily reserve a table for you. Good Friday and Easter
So you can enjoy the Easter holidays in culinary style as well, our head chef Bernd Rimke is offering the following: On Good Friday from 6:00 p.m., a fish buffet and fresh oysters. May to June (in 2026, already from 18 April)
Freshly prepared asparagus with sauce hollandaise and potatoes, or paired with salmon, schnitzel, or Ammerländer Schinken. Like our strawberries, our asparagus is delivered freshly harvested from Hof Warband here in the region. Freshness, quality, and short transport distances matter to us. Our asparagus menu 2026.


June is Matjes Season
We’re opening the Matjes season on 5 June 2026. From 6:00 p.m., we’ll be serving “everything around Matjes” as a buffet — for example, with fresh onion rings, fried potatoes, and salads. Please book in advance to be on the safe side: +49 4488 84710 or email.
July
Every Sunday evening, we prepare fresh pasta. Authentic and one of a kind. As a main course or side dish. Creamy, buttery, or with vegetables — perhaps already with fresh chanterelles.

After summer comes autumn. Light dishes give way to warming soups, mushroom dishes, and hearty home-style cooking.

August has the scent of mushrooms in the air
Chanterelles, prepared in a variety of ways, are either the ideal side dish for a steak — or served “solo” with diced bacon and fried potatoes. A crisp delight to mark the start of autumn.
September
Homemade Nuremberg sausages from the grill — made in-house. Served with fresh side dishes — and best enjoyed with a freshly tapped Stadthaus-Bräu.


October
Pumpkin soups or pumpkin as a side vegetable are freshly prepared to warm you from the inside out. For example: Napoleon pumpkin stuffed with blue cheese, pumpkin quiche, or tarte flambée with butternut squash.
November
We prepare crispy duck in red wine jus or saddle of fawn with a porcini crust with the utmost care. With game dishes and sides such as dumplings or red cabbage, we’ll spoil you throughout the dark months of the year.
